    What is Twitter?

Twitter is a community of friends and strangers from around the world sending updates about moments in their lives. Friends near or far can use Twitter to remain somewhat close while far away. Curious people can make friends. Bloggers can use it as a mini-blogging tool.

    What is Greasemonkey

Greasemonkey is a Firefox plugin that allows you to customise the way a webpage displays using small bits of JavaScript.

    What does this script do?

When replying to a tweet in Twitter you use the @username notation to specify who the tweet is meant for (see more on the Twitter help). This script will highlight any of the tweets displayed on the Twitter web site that are replies to you making it easier to pick these out over the other general tweets from the people you are following.

The basis for this script came from the Twitter Powertoys script by Manuel Gonzalez Noriega
